DENT strives to uphold industry-leading environmental management standards by carrying out all activities in a manner that minimizes environmental impacts and conserves natural resources.
DENT was founded in 1974 by Jim Dent in Hope, BC.
DENT recognizes the value of responsible stewardship and takes a proactive rather than reactive approach to minimizing the environmental impacts of our projects. DENT has extensive practical experience applying environmental stewardship practices that
meet or exceed the requirements of all environmental regulations. The organization relies upon a strong framework of internal systems and project-specific guidance to meet regulatory objectives and minimize environmental harm to the greatest degree practicable. These systems and policies are implemented throughout the structure of the company; from ownership and management to the engineers, equipment operators, carpenters, labourers and all other craft positions. Successful implementation of this mandate among all employees empowers every individual, including our subcontractors, to observe, report and correct any deviations from company and project-specific policies. At DENT, we continually endeavor to further enhance our reputation as a company that carries out our operations based on a principle of environmental sustainability.
